PTA at Sky Zone!
Mark your calendars for our next PTA meeting at Sky Zone!

At this meeting, we'll be discussing important school updates, upcoming events, and ways we can all work together to support our amazing students.

Here's the exciting part: If you attend the PTA meeting, your children will jump for free that evening at Sky Zone! That's right, while you're learning about what's happening at school, your kids can burn off some energy and have a blast.

We believe that strong parent involvement is key to a successful school year, and we hope to see you there!

Paint a Thon
Bee Well Paint-a-Thon
Our second annual BEE WELL Mental Wellness Window Paint-A-Thon is coming! This event serves as a launch to Mental Health Awareness Month that is observed and celebrated each May! It is important to take time to spread the messaging of mental wellness in our community and work to break the stigma surrounding this very important topic. Much like taking care of our physical health, we must also do the same for our emotional and mental well-being.  This event is a collaboration with the BCSD Mental Wellness Committee and the Town of Lysander Parks and Recreation. Come out and paint with us!

New York State Assessments
This May, our 3rd through 5th grade students will take the New York State Assessments in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and (for 5th grade) Science. These computer-based tests, required by the federal Every Student Succeeds Act, are important tools. They help us understand how well our students are mastering essential skills, ensuring they are prepared for high school and beyond. The assessments also provide valuable feedback to our teachers and schools, supporting continuous improvement. Look for a detailed testing schedule, practice resources, and more information in the April newsletter.
